Takes the queue
At dusk the fleet claims what the day left behind: support tickets, review backlogs, unreconciled ledgers, stalled branches. Work is claimed, not guessed at — every item traced to its source.
Vesperion is a fictional overnight-automation company. A neon city illustrates job queues, approval points and a morning report.
The imagined agents handle separate tasks such as ticket routing, bookkeeping and draft preparation. The example logs show how the concept would record their work.
At dusk the fleet claims what the day left behind: support tickets, review backlogs, unreconciled ledgers, stalled branches. Work is claimed, not guessed at — every item traced to its source.
Each action lands in a signed run log you can replay like tape. If an agent touched it, you can see when, why, and exactly what it looked like before.
Morning delivers one brief: what got done, what got blocked, and the three calls only a human should make. No dashboard spelunking before coffee.
The fleet, as you'd meet it on the strip. Each one narrow on purpose — a specialist with a name, a district, and a log.
Routing
Every inbound signal — mail, tickets, webhooks, pages — sorted to the right agent in milliseconds. Nothing waits in the wrong lane.
Monitoring
Watches your dashboards so nobody has to. Wakes a human only when a threshold truly breaks — and brings the context along with the page.
Reconciliation
Invoices, payouts, stock counts — matched line by line overnight. Discrepancies arrive flagged, sourced, and sized by dawn.
Drafting
Replies, briefs, changelogs and docs — drafted overnight and queued for your morning approval. Nothing sends itself. Ever.
Build & test
Runs the suites, retries the flakes, bisects the breakage, and files the diff with the failing line circled.
Memory
Every night's work, indexed and queryable. Ask the city what happened on the 14th — it answers in receipts.
Nothing irreversible happens in the dark. Sends, deploys, payments and deletes hold for a human dawn.
Every action writes a signed, replayable record. An agent that can't show its work doesn't work here.
Autonomy is a dial you set per agent, per task — from suggest-only to full night run. The default is short.
One job per agent, done well. A fleet of specialists beats one know-it-all — and fails smaller, too.
Design study: VESPERION is a fictional studio — a design study in what accountable autonomy should look like. Every number, name and claim on this page is invented, and none of it pretends otherwise. No fake customers, no invented benchmarks.
One config, three phases. The fleet handles the hours in between.
Clock-in. The fleet claims work from the sources you've allowed and posts its plan for the night.
The run. Agents execute inside the leash — logging, checkpointing, holding anything irreversible.
The brief. One page: done, blocked, and the decisions that are yours. Receipts attached.
import { Shift } from "@vesperion/night"; const shift = new Shift({ city: "yourco", agents: ["switchboard", "ledgerlight", "foundry"], leash: "draft-only", // nothing ships without a human brief: "07:00 America/New_York" }); await shift.clockIn(); // runs until sunrise
